Some may wonder about where I get my personality and individuality from. My family has helped mold me into the best person possible, I owe so much of my achievement to them.
I am very fortunate that my family remains close, even though we live far apart. Filling out my immediate family are two supportive parents and two brothers who have taught me everything that needs to be learned--outside of the classroom!
Lots of fun will always take place when we get together. Usually while we are playing cards or eating. Too bad it doesn't happen often. I live six hours away from home, and Jared (one brother) lives on the east coast! Needless to say, I look forward to seeing my family.
I have two other parts to my family. The first is Stephanie, Joe's (my other brother) fianceé. She made the way into our hearts a few years ago, and I'm personally excited to be part of their wedding next August. There are not enough great words to describe my future sister-in-law. Another important part to my family is my "sister." Catherine is a fireball of strength and intellegence. Definitely a force to be reckoned with! We met in 2002 when I was her mentor at a Summer Institute program.
So that's my family. The ones who taught me that it's okay to be smart, how to torque my spark plugs correctly, how to make a good tackle, and that I should always be honest with future boyfriends. Some of the best teachers I've ever had.
